Club career

Fernández signed for Manchester United from Real Madrid in September 2020 on a four year contract.[1][2] He had interest from other European clubs such as Barcelona, and Manchester City.[3] Fernández was viewed by his coaches as an exciting player for the future.[1] He began training with the first team during the early stages of the 2021-22 season.[4]

International career

Fernández made his debut for the Spain under-19 side on 26 October 2021, when he started a friendly match against Israel.[5]
