Ó Fiaich Institute of Further Education

Ó Fiaich Institute of Further Education is a college in Dundalk, Co. Louth which runs Post-Leaving Certificate, pre-university, and further education courses.[1] OFI is run by the Louth and Meath Education and Training Board.[2] The college runs over 90 courses in a variety of disciplines.[3][4] A number of the institutes level 6 QQI accredited programmes facilitate entry into the second year of degree level programmes in universities and institutes of technology.

The Further education institute shares a campus and developed from the post-leaving certificate and evening courses run by O Fiach College,[5] which is a secondary school.[2] Padraig McGovern is the principal of both the second-level and further education colleges. It is named after Cardinal Tomás Ó Fiaich.
