2022 Women's Youth World Handball Championship

The 2022 IHF Women's Youth World Championship will be 9th edition of the championship scheduled to be held from 3 to 14 August 2022 in Tbilisi, Georgia under the aegis of International Handball Federation (IHF). It will be first time in history that the championship will be organised by Georgian National Handball Federation.[1]

Bidding process

Only Georgia entered bid for hosting the tournament. The tournament was awarded to Georgia by IHF Council in its meeting held in Cairo, Egypt on 28 February 2020.
