Youmanity Award for Photography
Since 2010, the Youmanity Award is an annual photography competition centred around the concept of Cultural Diversity, for a £1,000 prize.[4][5] In 2019 the theme was Friend-Ship[6] and Debdatta Chakraborty was the winner for his shot on Sheroes Hangout café.[7]

In 2020 ‘Friend-Ship (2) During Challenging Times’ the winner was ‘A kiss from across the miles’ by Nicola Parker. A mobile screenshot taken during lockdown portrayed an 80-year-old grandmother blowing a kiss from a nursing home.[8]
