Adanech Abebe
Adanech Abebe (Oromo: Adaanach Abbabee) is an Ethiopian politician who is serving as the thirty-second Mayor of Addis Ababa. She has been serving as a Deputy Mayor from 18 August 2020 until 28 September 2021. She previously was the Minister of the Ministry of Revenue and Customs Authority of the government of Ethiopia from October 2018[1][2] to March 2020, when she assumed the role of the Federal Attorney General of Ethiopia.[3][4][5][6] She also is the first woman to hold the mayorship since it was created in 1910.
