Aharon Leshno-Yaar
Career
Educated at Tel Aviv University, Leshno-Yaar joined the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1981, after serving for 8 years in the Israel Defense Forces.
Before the Oslo Accords he was a member of the Israeli delegation for Middle East peace negotiations and later for peace negotiations with Lebanon. He served as Ambassador of Israel to the United Nations in Geneva, 2008–12.[1] He was appointed Ambassador of Israel to the European Union and NATO in 2016.[2]
