Alabama Intercollegiate Conference

The Alabama Intercollegiate Conference was an intercollegiate athletic conference composed of member schools located in the state of Alabama. The league existed from 1938 to 1969.[1]

History

The league was established in December 1938.[2] The five initial members of the conference included: Jacksonville State Teachers College (Jacksonville State University), Saint Bernard College, Troy State Teachers College (Troy University), Snead Junior College (Snead State Community College), Livingston State Teachers College (University of West Alabama), and the Marion Military Institute.[2]
