Career

Alex Ireeta is a Ugandan Cinematographer / Director of Photography and film Editor with over 15 years experience in filmmaking, best known for his collaborations with directors like Sadiq (Don) Mugisha, Bashir Lukyamuzi, Usama Mukwaya, Allan Manzi.

In 2015, Alex worked with video director-turned-film director Lukyamuzi Bashir on his first film as director of photography Bala Bala Sese, a film about a boyfriend's battle for love through perseverance. Ireeta continued to work with the film's producer and writer, Usama Mukwaya on all his follow up projects, Rehema,[1] Tiktok and his latest Love Faces.[2]

Alex has worked on several film projects e.g Bodaboda Thieves, Veronica’s Wish, Kony: Order From Above, Love Faces, TV commercials for MTN, UHMG, Airtel and several music videos for Juliana, Peter Miles, Chameleon, A Pass, Elephant Man, Demarco, General Levi and many others.
