Alina Anisimova

Alina Anisimova is a Kyrgyzstan scientist, computer programmer and lead instructor at the Kyrgyz Girls' Space School, which aims to send the country's first Satellite - CubeSat into space.[1][2] Alexander MacDonald, a NASA official had commented that CubeSat can be as small as 10 cubic centimetres and the smallest satellite to be launched into space. Anisimova was 19 years old and an undergraduate student when she started the program along with 10 other girls aged between 14 and 24.[3][4] She was named in the BBC’s 100 most influential women in 2018.[1][5]
