AGI, located in Nainital, has four distinct institutes:

  • Amrapali Institute of Technology and Sciences
  • Amrapali Institute of Hotel Management
  • Amrapali Institute of Pharmacy and Sciences
  • Amrapali Institute of Applied Science


The Institute offers professional and technical courses managed by five faculties:

History

The Amrapali Group of Institutes was initially started as a single branch and has grown into a group of institutions offering higher education in the Nainital district of Uttarakhand, India.

The Institute has separate hostel facilities for boys and girls, with a recreation ground. Currently, around 3800 students are pursuing their education in Hotel Management, Commerce & Business Management, Computer Science & Applications, Education, Engineering, & Pharmacy Sciences.

Higher professional education programs

The Amrapali Group of Institutes are affiliated with "Kumaun University, Nainital" and the Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun". Kumaun University awards degrees for all the courses run by the Institute. The B. Tech., MBA, MCA & BHMCT programmes are duly approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of HRD, Government of India, New Delhi. The Bachelor of Education programme is approved by National Council for Teacher Education, Jaipur.

The campus is spread over an area of 19 acres (77,000 m2) with all premises, is located at Lamachaur, 12 km (7.5 mi) away from Haldwani on the Haldwani - Ramnagar highway. The main campus site consists of academic departments, administrative building, library, computer centre, hostels, cafeteria, premises, etc.
