Angelique Coetzee

Angelique Coetzee is a South African physician who works as a general practitioner in Pretoria. She is the chairperson of the South African Medical Association[1] (a non-profit organization for medical practitioners) [2] In November 2021, Coetzee was the first physician to raise alarm of a possible new variant due to the different clinical symptoms experienced by patients SARS-CoV-2 Omicron variant of Covid-19.[3]
