Attack (2022 film)

Attack is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language action thriller film directed and co-written by Lakshya Raj Anand.[1] The film produced by John Abraham, Jayantilal Gada and Ajay Kapoor,[2] stars John Abraham alongside Jacqueline Fernandez and Rakul Preet Singh.[3] Based on hostage crisis, the storyline is inspired by true events.[4] Attack is scheduled for theatrical release on 26 January 2022 coinciding with Republic Day holidays in India.

Production

Principal photography began in January 2020.[7] Production was put on hold in March 2020 due to Covid-19 pandemic.[8]

Release

The film was originally scheduled for theatrical opening worldwide on 14 August 2020.[9] However, it was delayed due to the shooting suspension.[10] It is now scheduled for release on 26 January 2022 coinciding with Republic Day holidays in India.[11]
