Avril Malley

Avril Malley, also known as Avril Bray, (born 15 April 1957) is a former British judoka. She competed at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, where she lost to Yōko Tanabe.[1]

Career

She competed at the 1978 European Judo Championships in Cologne, where she won a bronze medal in both the light heavyweight and open classes, 1979 European Judo Championships in Kerkrade, where she won a bronze medal in the open class, 1980 European Judo Championships in Udine, where she won bronze medals in the light heavyweight and open class, and 1980 World Judo Championships in New York City, where she won a bronze medal.[1][2]

In 1986, she competed at the Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh. 1980 World Judo Championships, where she finished in fifth place, and 1987 World Judo Championships in Essen, where she was again fifth.[3]
