Bal Krishna Pokharel
Bal Krishna Pokharel (Nepali: बालकृष्ण पोखरेल) was a Nepalese writer and linguist.[1]

Early life
He was born in 1933 in Chisapani Gadhi, Makwanpur, Nepal.[2][3]
Awards
In 1963, Pokharel was awarded the Madan Puraskar, Nepal's highest literary honour.[2][4]
In 2017, he was awarded the Lekhnath Literary Award.[5]
Death
Pokharel died on 24 February 2019 in Biratnagar.[1]
