Baranwal

Baranwal (Waranwal , Warnwal , Barnwal as distinguished), a Hindu community which Rajasthan, Haryana, Delhi, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Jharkhand are found in the northern, central and western India, including. The Baranwal caste , like the Agrawal caste, is considered to belong to the upper Bania community.

Members of the Baranwal community are known for their business acumen and have been influential and prosperous in India for many years. In modern technology and e-commerce companies too, the Barnwal and Agarwal castes continue to dominate. The people of the Baranwal caste have been involved in business under different surnames for a long time, many Baranwals have made their gotra as their name.

Legend

The Baranwal community descended from King Ahibaran, a Suryavanshi Kshatriya, who was the great-grandson of the legendary king Agrasen.[1][2][3] At present, they mostly reside in the regions of Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Jharkhand. There is a big diaspora who have migrated temporarily to other states and countries.[2][4][5]
