Bawang River

The Bawang River[1] (Chinese: 霸王河; pinyin: Bàwáng hé), also known as Naersong River (纳尔松河), [2] is an inland river,[3] located in the northern suburbs of Ulanqab City,[4] Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.[5] It is the mother river of Ulanqab.[6] Together with the Quanyulin River, the Bawang River is the main source of water for Huangqihai Lake.[7]

Basic information

Bawang River originates in the territory of Zhuozi County,[8] flows from west to east, and finally converges into Huangqihai Lake.[9] The river has a total length of 125.9 kilometers and a watershed area of 889.3 square kilometers.[10]
