She died in Oakland, California in December 2006.[9][3][7]
There were two Betty Brewers, one born on April 1, 1922 in Little Rock, AR. This was my mother. She sang with Ray Heatherton, Gordon Jenkins and Tommy Dorsey. She was featured on Ed Sullivan Show, Bill Cullen Show, Don Ameche Playhouse. She was in only one movie when she was singing for Tommy Dorsey Band. Virginia Brewer, aka, Betty Brewer was younger than my mother. She was the actress in many movies.
