Bisaat (TV series)

Bisaat (Urdu: بساط‎, lit. 'Power') is a Pakistani drama serial that first aired on Hum TV on 28 November 2021. It is directed by Fahim Burney and features Azfar Rehman, Ayesha Omer, Mirza Zain Baig and Anmol Baloch in lead roles.[1][2]

Plot

Noor's family comprises of her three children; Murtaza, Sania and Afshan while her elder son Jahanzeb had gone to Turkey years before. Noor's accountant Kareem and his daughter Afreen also live with their. Afreen and Murtaza has good friendship and share a close bond. In Turkey, it revealed to Jahanzeb that he is unable to become father and divorces his wife Sofia who is a Turkish girl so that she could marry a guy who could give him baby. After divorcing Sofia, Jahanzeb returns to Pakistan and everyone amaze to see him.

In conservation with Dawn Images, Omer revealed about her character, "My role is of a half Turkish, half Pakistani girl," she said. "The character is very positive. The kind of journey or circumstances my character goes through, there are different ways of facing them."[5]

It marked the collaboration of Omer and Rehman after six years, last appeared in Miss U Kabhi Kabhi (2015).
