Blondey McCoy

Thomas Eblen (born May 23, 1997),[1][2] better known as Blondey McCoy, is an English artist and model.

Early life

McCoy was born to a British mother and Lebanese father, and was educated at Rokeby Preparatory School in Kingston Upon Thames, and later Westminster School in central London.[1] He was asked to leave Westminster school following continued absences.[3]

Art

McCoy works in several genres and mediums, including collage, installation art and murals.[4]

Skateboarding

McCoy has featured in multiple Palace videoparts, including Palasonic, one of Palace's seminal skateboard videos, released on the 8th November 2017, as well as producing his own videos. [5]

Clothing Line

Since 2015, McCoy has been the creative director of Thames, a fashion brand that takes influence from skateboarding and British culture.[6] Blondey has also collaborated with Adidas, releasing 4 colourways of the Adidas Superstar.

Modelling

McCoy has modelled for Burberry, Valentino, Palace and Adidas.[7] McCoy has a long relationship with photographer Alasdair McLellan that has culminated in a book of their model/photographer relationship titled 'Blondey 15-21' published June 2019. [8]
