Brenda Warrington
Brenda Warrington is a British Labour politician and leader of Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council in Greater Manchester. As leader she is also a member of the Greater Manchester Combined Authority and is the combined authority's portfolio lead for healthy lives & quality care.[1]

First elected to the council in 2002, she represents the ward of Denton West and was elected leader of the council on 31 January 2018[2] following the sudden death of the predecessor Kieran Quinn the previous month.[3] She is the first woman to hold the role.[2]
