Catherine Parry

Catherine Parry (born February 1983) is a businessperson based in Los Angeles, California.[1][2][3] She has founded a now-defunct PR company and a company advising businesses about usage of encrypted communication methods.

Career

Parry was born in Swindon, England. She studied at the St Helen and St Katharine's school in Oxfordshire, England, and later attended the University of Birmingham from where graduated in 2004 with a B.Sc. in Psychology.[4]

She developed and launched a wedding website called Templars Weddings in 1999 when she was 16.[5][6][7]

In 2009, she founded Templars Communications, a now-defunct public relations company.[8][9][10] In October 2017, her company was acquired by FulyVested, a New York based company.[11][12] Parry stayed as a senior advisor and remained a shareholder at the company.[13][14]

Parry founded Social Media Compliance(later known as Deepview) in 2015.[15][16][17][18][19][20][21] The start up uses Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to enable encrypted channels for business use.[22]

She founded Accelerating Change Network in 2011, a support network to help women excel in business.[23][24]

In 2014, Parry became a member of the World Economic Forum's Young Global Leader.[25][26][27][28] Over the years, she's participated in discussions at the forum's annual meetings in Davos.[29][30][31] Parry was nominated by the Network She Foundation for the She Young Business Woman of the Year award in 2013.[32]
