Championship Leaders' Shield
The Championship Leaders' Shield[1] is a trophy awarded to the team finishing the season top of RFL Championship in the sport of rugby league football. Similar to the Super League the championship is ultimately decided on the basis of a play-off series ending with a Grand Final, therefore the Shield is often regarded as a lesser prize.
