Chance Association

CHANCE Association is a politically and religiously independent Lebanese non-governmental humanitarian organization, founded in 2005 whose mission is to help Lebanese children with cancer and blood disorders access treatment. It covers expenses related to chemotherapy, radiotherapy, imaging, lab work, and aftercare.

It is the first Lebanese organization to be a member of the Childhood Cancer International (CCI)[1] and International Confederation of Childhood Cancer Parent Organisations (ICCCPO).[2] CHANCE is officially registered in Lebanon and Switzerland.[3]

History

CHANCE has helped more than 800 children since 2005 and funded more than 15000 hospital admissions.[4]

CHANCE is responsible for organizing educational webinar sessions, conferences and public awareness campaigns. [5][6][7][8]

CHANCE relies on fundraising events and donations,[9] grants and sponsorship to cover its expenses.[10]

Shops

CHANCE has an online shop which sell different items such as children's calendar and coloring books. The proceeds from these are used to fund the organization's projects. Some of these items are also sold in major bookstores and pharmacies across Lebanon. [11]

Fundraising

CHANCE has organized multiple annual fundraising events in addition to its shops. [12][13]
