Plot
With her father nearing death, Faith's world is turned upside down. When a new inhabitant, Sissy Young settles in next door, Faith is eager to meet her and become friends. A woman with a compassionate spirit, Sissy becomes more like a mother to her. Faith isn't aware though, that Sissy is the head of an ancient witches' coven that uses the fruit of an old cherry tree in a secret ritual that heals the dying and resurrects the dead.
Sissy offers Faith to cure her father in exchange for a child. That is, her father will be healed but she must bear a child first. A bargain deal according to Faith, she doesn't realize how soon she becomes pregnant and that her belly grows at an alarming rate. The due date for the birth is set, and as she becomes more aware of Sissy's plans for humanity control, Faith and her father must protect each other in order to save their lives.
