Chiara Samugheo

Chiara Samugheo (born 1935) is an Italian neorealist photographer and photojournlalist.[1] Known as the first female professional photographer in Italy, she built a reputation during the 1950s and 1960s in Italy by photographing of film stars and celebrities.[2][3][4]

Her work is included in the collection of the Museum of Fine Arts Houston[5] and is archived at the Centre des études et Archives de la Communication (CSAC) of University of Parma.[6]
