Cong TV

Lincoln Cortez Velasquez[4] (born October 27, 1991[5]), better known as Cong TV,[6] is a Filipino YouTuber, comedian, musician, vlogger[7] and online streamer.[8][9] He is known for his comedy videos on YouTube.

In this Philippine name, the middle name or maternal family name is Cortez and the surname or paternal family name is Velasquez.

He is considered as one of the top YouTube personalities in the Philippines.[8][10][11]

Career

Cong TV joined YouTube in 2008. He appeared in a Philippine television series My Super D aired on ABS-CBN, he played the role of Moby.[12] He gained popularity in the Philippines by uploading comedy videos and parodies on YouTube.[8]

Cong TV is the lead guitarist and vocalist of the band Coln he formed in 2018.[3] The band released a single "Baliw" with a music video which was uploaded in Cong TV's channel gaining more than 11 million views and it became his most-viewed video on his YouTube channel.[13] On December 3, 2020, Cong TV was included and got the third place on the list of top YouTube ph Creators of 2020.[11] In September 2021, Cong TV along with his brother known as Junnie Boy and a Filipino actor James Reid was included in an advertisement of a carbonated soft drink brand Mountain Dew, the advertisement goes trending after Cong TV uploaded a vlog along with its behind the scenes.[14][15][16]

Personal life

Cong TV has three siblings, two of them are also YouTubers: Marlon Velasquez, better known as Junnie Boy; Pat Velasquez, better known as Neneng Lamig; and both of them have already surpassed one million subscribers on YouTube.[17][18]

In December 2020, Cong TV and his girlfriend and fellow vlogger Viy Cortez lose baby just days after learning of the pregnancy[19] and in December 2021, after a year, his girlfriend announced on her vlog that she and Cong TV are expecting another baby.[20]
