Corosolic acid
Corosolic acid is a pentacyclic triterpene acid found in Lagerstroemia speciosa. It is similar in structure to ursolic acid, differing only in the fact that it has a 2-alpha-hydroxy attachment.[1]

Axit corosolic giúp giảm nhanh glucose máu, tăng độ nhạy của insulin. Đồng thời tăng khả năng hấp thu glucose và ức chế enzyme alpha-glucosidase. Là enzyme giúp tiêu hóa carbohydrate, có tác dụng tương tự insulin.[2]
