Plot

After serving their tour of duty in Iraq, Tommy Donahue and DD Davis return to their North Philadelphia neighborhood. Tommy finally meets his wife, Faith, whom he abandons while she was pregnant to serve his country. During that time, he also meets his four-year-old daughter, Hope, for the very first time. On the contrary, DD is trying to save his brother, James, from joining a gang. While he is busy with James, his older brother Darnell, has become a notorious criminal. Both Tommy and DD find themselves in the same "boiling pot", which they left for good. As they struggle to make their wrongs right, their own families are drawn in a web of crime and corruption so big, killing each other becomes their only option.
