Crown Prince Hyodeok
Crown Prince Hyodeok (Hangul: 효덕태자, Hanja: 孝德太子) was a Korean Royal Prince as the first son of Daejong of Goryeo and Queen Seonui.[1] He was the oldest brother of Seongjong of Goryeo, Queen Heonae and Queen Heonjeong.[2] Since their parents were died when he was young, he then raised by his paternal grandmother, Queen Sinjeong along with his other siblings.[3] Therefore, it was speculated that he lived in Hwangju where Queen Sinjeong came from. Also, because Gyeongjong of Goryeo's throne was succeeded to Seongjong his little brother and not to him, so it can be that he died at a young age before the time of throne's ascension.[4]
