Cynthia Dianne Steel

Cynthia Dianne Steel is a retired family judge who served the eight district of Nevada from 1997 until her retirement on January 8, 2019.[1][2][3] She was the most senior judge in the district court at the time of her retirement. She helped establish One Family, One Judge.[4]

Judge Steel finished her undergraduate degree at Valdosta State College in 1977 and finished her law degree from California Western School of Law in 1990.[5]

She was the President of the Nevada District Judges Association from 2001 to 2002.
