Ophelia (Debra Gail White)

Ophelia (born Debra Gail White) [1][2] is a musician, music producer, singer, songwriter, and actor. She has worked in movies like 001 Trolling. She composed soundtracks/scores for 2016 film Tie the Knot (2016) starring Tara Reid. She is also in the duo Empty Streets with Aaron Thompson (aka Small Hands), which is signed to Cleopatra Records.

Early life

Ophelia was born in Hamilton, Ohio she later relocated back to the small rural area of Rock, West Virginia where her parents were from. As a child she took music lessons for piano and was brought up around bluegrass and church choir music. After not being accepted to MIT, she then applied and was accepted to Berklee College of Music majoring in music business. She interned with Clive Davis at J Records and later worked at MTV and VH1 in New York. She worked in the Boston area within media, later on gaining a position within MTV. Soon her internal compass pointed towards the fiery desert shining with the artisan flames of the Burning Man community event. Venturing there she found home in San Francisco and later moved to Los Angeles.
