Diego Corrientes (1959 film)

Diego Corrientes is a 1959 Spanish historical adventure film directed by Antonio Isasi-Isasmendi and starring José Suarez, Marisa de Leza and Eulália del Pino.[1] It portrays the life of the eighteenth century highwayman Diego Corrientes Mateos.

Plot

As the end of the 18th century nears, the young Diego Corrientes quarrels with the tyrannical count of Albanes, who, after arresting Diego, orders him to be spanked. Accused of murder and in love with the count's girlfriend, he flees to the mountains and forms a gang.
