Dmitry Zapolskiy

Dmitry Nikolaevich Zapolsky (December 31, 1958 – August 8, 2021) was Soviet and Russian journalist, political analyst, TV presenter. Politician, deputy Lensovet 21st convocation. Associate Professor at the Faculty of Human Philosophy RSPU. Professor at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation. He was the author of the book "Putinburg".

Death

On August 8, 2021, Zapolsky's wife Elizaveta announced on his Facebook page that he died in Riga while traveling with his family. The cause of death is presumably a blood clot. [1] The post mortem examination showed that the cause of death was myocardial infarction.
