Drumcorps

Drumcorps is the metal/breakcore musical project of American musician Aaron Spectre.[1] He is currently based in Amsterdam, Netherlands.[2]

Spectre was born and raised in rural Massachusetts. He began Drumcorps after moving to Berlin to branch out creatively. He describes Drumcorps's sound as "solid songwriting mixed with an upfront intensity, human heart & soul mixed with machine precision".[3] In 2007, won a "Sound Art Award" with his album "Grist" at The Austria's Ars Electronica.[4][5]

In 2015, on his album "Falling Forward", musicians, including drummer Igor Cavalera (of Sepultura, Soulwax, Cavalera Conspiracy, and Mixhell); Leo Miller and Mike Justian joined Aaron for this opus.[6]
