Dudung Abdurachman
Dudung Abdurachman (born 19 November 1965) is an Indonesian military general who currently serves as the Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Army. He graduated from military academy in 1988 from infantry branch and became commander of Jaya Regional Command (Kodam Jaya) which oversees defense of Jakarta on 27 July 2020. He was appointed as commander of Army Strategic Command (Kostrad) in 25 May 2021.[1][2][3]

Dudung gained media attention in late 2020 for his anti-Islamism statements and standoff against Islamic Defenders Front. Further more, he instructed soldiers under his command to take off banners and posters related to Islamic Defenders Front around Jakarta, which sparked controversy.[4]
