Duobaojiang Temple

Duobaojiang Temple[1] (simplified Chinese: 多宝讲寺; traditional Chinese: 多寶講寺) is a Sino-Tibetan temple[2] located in Gaojian Township, Sanmen County, Taizhou City, Zhejiang Province.[3]

History

It was built in the Eastern Jin Dynasty,[4] initially called "Longxiang Academy" (龙翔院), and was renamed to its present name in the Southern Song Dynasty.[5]

The temple was damaged during the Cultural Revolution. It underwent several renovations in the 1980s.[6]
