Dynamic Herb Sports Complex

Dynamic Herb–Borromeo Sports Complex, simply known as Dynamic Herb Sports Complex, is a complex of sports facilities located in Talisay, Cebu.[1][2] The stadium is home to Cebu F.C., a professional football club playing in Philippines Football League.

History

Cebu is considered as one of the sports hotbed in the Philippines. The city, however, used to lack top-quality sports facilities. The most prominent facilities are Cebu City Sports Center and Cebu Coliseum, both of which are either lacking in venues or ageing. The grounds and gymnasiums of universities and colleges have also been used as sports facilities.[3][4]

Construction of the first complex phase began in October 2017, which focused on astroturf and outdoor facilities.[5]

At least ₱100 million has been spent for the sports complex's football facility, the home venue of Cebu FC.[6]

Facilities

The sports complex has a stadium with bleachers that can accommodate 550 people and a FIFA-standard artificial turf.[7] There is a plan to build an indoor arena that would accommodate several sporting events like futsal, basketball, badminton and volleyball.[7][8][9]
