E.F. Barrett Power Station
The E.F. Barrett Power Station (also known as the Island Park Energy Center) is a power plant in and on Barnum Island in Nassau County, New York, United States. It is operated by National Grid USA.

Overview
The power plant is fueled by natural gas. It has a nameplate capacity of 669.2 MW and is operated by National Grid USA.[1][2][3]
The electricity generated at the plant is distributed across Long Island via the Long Island Power Authority's electrical transmission network.[4]
The plant was re-powered in the 2010s and its capacity was increased.[4]
The Transcontinental Pipeline terminates at the Island Park Energy Center.[1][5][6]
