Eleta Kingsley

Eleta Kingsley (born 29 October 1989) is a Nigerian-born Bangladeshi professional footballer who plays as a Forward for Bashundhara Kings in the Bangladesh Football Premier League.[1] Born in Nigeria, in 2021 Eleta obtained Bangladeshi citizenship through naturalization.[2][3]

During the 2015 Sheikh Kamal International Club Cup, Eleta took the awards for the man of the final, most valuable player as well as the top scorer with five goals in the tournament.[4][5]

Club career

In early days of Eleta's career, he played for Nigerian Club Akwa United F.C. (2009–2011). In 2011, Eleta signed for Bangladeshi Club Arambagh KS. From 2011–2012, Eleta played for Arambagh KS. In 2012, Eleta signed for Team BJMC. He played for BJMC in 8 matches. Eleta Played for Muktijoddha Sangsad KC from 2015-2019. Most recently, Kingsley played for Bashundhara Kings from 2020–21 season.

Personal life

Born in Nigeria, Eleta lives in Bashundhara Residential Area with Bangladeshi wife Liza, whom he married in May 2012. The couple has a daughter named Safira.[6]
