Elvira of Toro
Doña Elvira, Lady of Toro, Infanta of León (1038/1039 – November 15, 1101) was a Leonese princess.
Life
Elvira, Lady of Toro, was a daughter of Ferdinand I of León and wife Sancha of León. She made an important donation of lands to the Monastery of Ona in the era of 1087.
She married Sancho Fernández de Ovando and they were the parents of Fernando Joanes de Ovando, 1st Duke of Limia.
