Career
On 18 February 2020, Johnston signed his first professional contract with Northampton Town.[2] Johnston made his professional debut with Northampton Town in a 4-0 EFL Cup loss to Bristol City on 16 September 2020.[3] 124 games 332 goal at youth level 22 goals in 18 games for Northampton Town under 18 league top scorer and 37 goals in 22 games for the fep programme
