Explicit Content (song)

"Explicit Content" (Chinese: 人話) is a song released by Hong Kong singer-songwriter Charmaine Fong in late 2019. The composition and lyrics are all composed by Charmaine Fong. The song is in EDM style, the song criticizes the 2019–2020 Hong Kong protests in Hong Kong, claiming that the Hong Kong Government ignores the demands from a large group of protesters as well as the police violent. The song has reached 300,000 hits after the first two days of launch, and has exceeded 1 million by the end of 2019.

"Explicit Comment" criticizing Hong Kong Government and Hong Kong Police Force violent abuse of power have been portrayed in the MV, such as 2019 Yuen Long attack and 31 August MTR station incident.[1] The song includes several foul language, such as "Tell me what 7 you say", in which the word "7" in Cantonese sounds like "𨳍".[2]
