Fas 3

Fas 3, is the name of the final sequence of the "work- and development guarantee", which is a work program initiated by the Reinfeldt Cabinet in July 2007.

Implementation

Fas 3 is implemented when one has been doing something else than wage labour for 450 days, but been a part of the "work- and development guarantee". The person who hasn't been doing any waged labour after 450 days, will in accordance to the Fas 3 programme, be given "some kind of task" at an employee which the government employment agency "Arbetsförmedlingen" chooses. People who ended up in Fas 3 didn't initially get any usual tasks, but these regulations have been adjusted since then. The corporation which takes in the person enrolled in fas 3 gets 210 kronor (approximately 20 euros) for free per day to have the person facility and doing tasks at their corporation. People who end up in fas 3 usually doesn't go back to regular waged labour.[1]

The person who is enrolled in fas 3 receives no pay, but might be entitled to (65% of regular) unemployment benefits, or might receive financial aid reserved for those in poverty.
