Fasiq (Urdu: فاسق‎, lit. 'Sinner') is a 2021 Pakistani television series, directed by Saleem Ghanchi and written by Huma Hina Nafees. It is produced by Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi under their banner 7th Sky Entertainment. It premiered on 23 November 2021 on Geo TV. It stars Sehar Khan, Adeel Chaudhry, Haroon Shahid, Sukaina Khan in the leading roles.[1][2]

Plot

Fasiq tells a compelling narrative surrounding the way people's behavior and actions change with time as they leave the trail of righteousness and gravitate towards wrongdoings.

Hailing from a middle-class family, Fatima may be a pious and non secular girl who values her morals and ethics. Fatima & her father are god-fearing people stay together. Fatima is in love with one of her cousins, Umair. She compromises and sacrifices her love for Aneeqa. Aneeqa is jealous and insecure of Fatima.

On the other hand, Mutahir is from a well background & He is always humiliated and ridiculed for his lifestyle. Constant insult forces Mutahir to need revenge however he sets himself on a path of destruction.

Will Mutahir realize his mistake and save himself despite of living in a virtuous life? After losing everything, will Umair realize the results of his actions? Being a firm believer in righteousness, will Fatima realize truth faces of these around her?

Fasiq is coming to television screens with a stirring narrative about unrequited love, rejection and regret.

Release

The teasers of the serial were released on November 18, 2021, prior to its television premier. On 18 November 2021, it was revealed to air from 23 November. The show is being aired from Monday to Sunday at 9:00 PM PST.[3]
