Fayetteville Academy
The Fayetteville Academy was established in 1970 as a coeducational secular private school in Cumberland County.[2] The Head of School is Ray Quesnel.

Athletic facilities
The Norris Gymnasium was built in 1971 and is named for Oscar L. Norris, the Chairman of the original Board of Directors. The school also has a baseball field, soccer field, and track.
Student life
Fayetteville Academy had a gendered dress code until June 2018. A sophomore student rewrote the dress code and removed as much gender related material as needed to coincide with the modern view points of society. He submitted his changes to administration and it became the new standard.
