Fernanda Trías
Fernanda Trías (born 1976) is an Uruguayan writer and sworn translator.
She has lived in Provence, London, Berlin and Buenos Aires, and she also pursued an MFA at NYU. She has published several books, including the novels La Azotea, Cuaderno para un solo ojo, La ciudad invencible, and Mugre rosa. Her short stories have appeared in multiple anthologies, for example, in 20/40 and Palabras Errantes. She won the Uruguayan National Literature Award in 2002, and the BankBoston Foundation for Uruguayan National Culture Award in 2006.[1]
