Forqué Awards

The Forqué Awards[1] or José María Forqué Awards[2] (Spanish: Premios Forqué, also Premios Cinematográficos José María Forqué) are film and television awards presented by the association of audiovisual producers EGEDA,[3] honoring the best of Spanish cinema and television (the TV categories were added in the 26th edition).[4] Created in 1996, they are named after Spanish filmmaker and producer José María Forqué. Since 2013, the awards include a category recognising the best Latin-American film.[5]
