Dendrochirus brachypterus

Dendrochirus brachypterus, known commonly as the shortfin turkeyfish or dwarf lionfish among other vernacular names, is a species of marine fish in the family Scorpaenidae.[2]

Shortfin turkeyfish is widespread throughout the tropical waters of the Indo-West Pacific, Red Sea included.[3]

Dwarf lionfish is up to 17 cm (6.7 in) in length.[4]

It occasionally makes its way into the aquarium trade.[5]
