Gülizar Biçer Karaca

Gülizar Biçer Karaca (born 20 September 1967) in Denizli, Turkey, is a Turkish politician and lawyer.

Karaca graduated from Selçuk University's Faculty of Law in 1989. She started politics in the SHP, and later was in charge of managing the youth branches of the CHP in Denizli. She worked as a freelance lawyer. She was a member of the Kınıklı Municipality Council between 1999-2004 and the Secretary General of the Denizli Bar Association between 2000-2002. Between 2005 and 2015, she was the chairman of the Atatürkist Thought Association's Denizli Branch. She was elected as the 25th Denizli Deputy of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey and as a Clerk of the Presidency Council of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. She was later elected as a CHP party council member in 2016, and on February 12, 2018, she became the CHP's vice chairman in charge of issues relating to nature, and as of 2020 is the deputy chairman in charge of human rights.[1] Karaca, who speaks intermediate level German, is married and has one child.[2]
