Gian Zola

Gian Zola Nasrulloh Nugraha (born 5 August 1998) is an Indonesian professional footballer who plays for Liga 1 club Persela Lamongan, on loan from Persib Bandung. Zola plays mainly as a central or an attacking midfielder but can also play as a winger.[1]

Early career

Some of the accomplishments that have been achieved, such as Asia-Pacific's best player in the tournament Manchester United Premier Cup (MUPC) in 2013 at the Trafford Training Centre, Carrington, Manchester, England.

Persib Bandung

He joined the Persib Bandung squad for the 2016 Indonesia Soccer Championship A after signing a four-year contract. Zola made his debut on 15 April 2017 in a match against Arema in the Liga 1. On 20 May 2017, Zola scored his first goal for Persib against Borneo in the 22th minute at the Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Stadium, Bandung.[2]

Persela Lamongan (loan)

He was signed for Persela Lamongan to played in the Liga 1 on 2018 season, on loan from Persib Bandung. Zola made his debut on 29 July 2018 in a match against Persipura Jayapura.[3][4]

International career

He made his international debut on 21 March 2017, against Myanmar.[5]

Personal life

The name "Gian Zola" is taken from the famous Chelsea and Italy legend Gianfranco Zola.[6] He is currently also enrolled as a student at the Pasundan University, majoring Law.. His younger brother Beckham Putra also a footballer play for Persib
